Position:      Head Coach, Boys Golf - Buffalo High School
Location:     Buffalo High School
Schedule:     2-3 hours/day, 5 days/week, 3 months/year, varying hours with evenings and some weekends, contest schedule & game/meet nights
Benefits & Rate of Pay:    Per Master Agreement
Beginning:   March 2026

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the program at BHM Schools by conducting & attending practices games/meets/contests and overall administration of the program.
• Provide guidance on athlete development, strategy, skill, technique and sportsmanship during practices and competitions.
• Team leadership/management, program development, communication and budget management. 
• Organize team schedules, including practices, matches, and transportation for events.
• Foster a positive team environment, serving as a positive role model.
• Mentor athletes in personal and academic growth helping athletes grow character, confidence, and sportsmanship.
• Coach athletes of different skill levels, from beginners to elite athletes.   
• Ensure compliance with school policies, league rules, and safety protocols.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Coaching license or coaching minor preferred, not required.
• Coaching experience in the sport.
• Leadership skills & program vision.
• Organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
