Position Overview: Facility Use Building Monitor
Hours/Day: Varies
Days/Year: Varies
Compensation/benefits: Unaffiliated Tier III C
Overview:
- The Facility Use Program Building Monitor provides information and assistance to community users who utilize district facilities outside the school day and provide building security during such use
- This position requires the ability to work independently. The employee will be the only staff member on duty during their shift and will be responsible for enforcing all permits, rules and regulations and policies
- All shifts take place outside of school hours; this includes weekends with the possibility of week day evenings
- Weekend shifts are scheduled by event
- Competitive pay of $25.00 per hour
Qualifications:
- Customer service experience preferred
- Commitment to excellent customer service
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Knowledge of and ability to adhere to district policies and procedure
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Trustworthy and reliable
- Ability to work with a diverse group of community users, students, and staff
- Ability to remain calm in emergency situations
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform the following actions: sitting, standing, talking, hearing, lifting and carrying of up to 30 pounds, reaching, stooping, standing, bending, crouching, walking
- Computer and technology skills: Familiarity with Google Suites (Docs, Sheets, Forms)
- Interest in and ability to learn new platforms
