Description: Modern Montessori Charter School is seeking a 6th Grade Teacher for the 2026-27 school year to join our middle school team. This individual may also teacher a core subject area for a small, multiage 7th/8th grade class. The ideal candidate will enjoy team teaching daily while working in an innovative, supportive, dynamic educational setting and working collaboratively to develop Montessori STEM integrated curriculum in a multiage classroom. Candidates will provide a nurturing and stimulating environment to facilitate children?s growth, exploration and participation, observe the child and interpret the child?s needs and coordinate regular communication with parents regarding their children?s progress. Candidates will effectively use observations and data regularly to assess student achievement and plan instruction accordingly. Ideal candidates will be highly motivated, organized, optimistic, problem solvers, adaptable, and communicate positively and effectively.
