The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mathematics Education and/or Elementary Education, a commitment to student success, and the ability to create engaging and effective learning experiences for students. Demonstrated experience or strong interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and environmental education is advantageous. This position is primarily a 5th grade math teaching assignment, consisting of four sections of math. Depending on licensure and candidate strengths, the remaining section may include either social studies or an additional math course at the 5th or 6th grade level.
