POSITION: 1.0 FTE Full-Time HS Chemistry/Physics Teacher
LOCATION: TCU High School in Montgomery, MN
Tri-City United Schools serves the communities of Le Center, Lonsdale, & Montgomery
STARTING DATE: 2026-2027 school year, first day of new teacher workshop is August 25, 2026
SALARY RANGE: $45,500-$75,125 based on qualifications and years of experience
Per the Tri-City United ISD 2905 Master Teacher Agreement
BENEFITS: Insurance, retirement, and paid time off
REPORTS TO: Building Principal
DATE OF POSTING: May 4, 2026
LICENSURE: MN licensure in Secondary Physical Sciences
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPECTATIONS:
- HS Chemistry &/or Physics teaching experience preferred, but not required.
- Actively participate in all professional development activities and professional collaboration time (PLC / CLT)
- Prepare and collaborate with students, parents/guardians, and staff to promote student engagement
- Utilize best practice (research-based) strategies in lesson development and delivery
- Prepare daily/weekly lesson plans addressing student needs as aligned with the Minnesota Standards
- Understand and promote school-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program within our schools
