Benton Stearns Education District Special Education Evaluator Anticipated Start Date: August 2026 Salary: Placement per the EdMN Benton-Stearns Master Agreement, based on education and experience Other Compensation: Paid professional development opportunities, health insurance, paid time off Application Closing Date: Open until filled POSITION OVERVIEW: The Benton-Stearns Education District 6383 is seeking qualified applicants for full time (1.0) special education evaluator. The special education evaluator will assist the school psychologists with completing evaluation procedures within the member districts. Primary Duties Attend evaluation planning meetings Assist with creation of evaluation plans Conduct student and parent interviews Complete student observations Complete record reviews Collaborate with school psychologist and other members of evaluation team Assist with the completion of FBAs Distribute and score checklists Assist with completion of evaluation reports Assist with evaluation results meetings QUALIFICATIONS: A Special Education Evaluator must possess a MN teaching license in the field of Special Education or related field. 5 years or more of experience in special education with a strong background in standardized testing, interpretation of results, report writing, and presentation of results is preferred .
