In alignment with our district strategic framework, this role is responsible for the day-to-day complexities, structural redesign, and operational roadmap of multi-tiered practices across all sites. The Coordinator ensures that academic, social-emotional, and behavioral interventions are standardized and data-driven to support future success for all Farmington Area Public Schools students. The MTSS Coordinator oversees the district''s implementation through continuous system assessments, real-time disaggregated data monitoring, and the coordination of systems and supports. Qualifications: Licensure: Valid Minnesota Teaching Licensure required. Experience: Minimum of five years of successful teaching with educational leadership experiences preferred, including demonstrated experience navigating complex, large-scale system changes or continuous school improvement frameworks. Education: Master''s degree in Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, or related field preferred. Skills: Deep understanding of multi-tiered frameworks spanning academic, social-emotional, and behavioral domains. Exceptional data literacy skills, specifically the ability to analyze and disaggregate student metrics to drive equity-centered adjustments. Strong relational and collaborative leadership capacity to manage diverse teams and foster consensus without direct administrative authority. Strategic Leadership System Action Planning: Partner with regional and state support teams (including the COMPASS MnMTSS Statewide Team and Brightworks) to develop, refine, and execute a comprehensive district-level MnMTSS Action Plan focused on structural framework redesign. Process Standardization: Establish standardized communication protocols and operational roadmaps for implementing multi-tiered practices across all schools to maximize efficiency and minimize system confusion. Sustainability & Onboarding: Design institutional onboarding plans for future district and school leadership team members to maintain system knowledge and ensure progress continues uninterrupted through staff turnover. Grant Alignment: Act as the primary representative for the district''s selected professional learning pathway, ensuring all activities strictly align with the MnMTSS Infrastructure Development Grant guidelines. II. Data Infrastructure & Evaluation Real-Time Data Leadership: Evolve the district''s data culture to a regular cadence of real-time monitoring of disaggregated academic and discipline data. Gap Analysis: Track systemic disparities across demographics, maintaining a heightened focus on reducing achievement gaps and supporting designated accountability schools. System Assessments: Lead the execution and analysis of annual system self-assessments, including the SEMI-DLT (District Leadership Team) rubrics to monitor implementation fidelity. Adjustment Management: Collaborate with leadership teams to interpret data and make real-time adjustments to instructional practices. III. Systems that Support Learning Cross-Functional Integration: Partner closely with content-specific leads, including the Literacy Lead, Math Lead, and Learning Coaches, to embed MTSS structures directly into core operational work rather than treating it as a standalone initiative. Collaborative Team Facilitation: Serve as a connecting member of various leadership teams throughout the system and managing data driven system analysis. Family & Community Partnership: Lead efforts to shift family engagement to a reciprocal model, ensuring underserved families are co-creators in the MTSS planning and evaluation phases.
