Responsible for providing safe, developmentally appropriate learning/ enrichment environment, manage student behavior, serving as a positive role model and being a supportive adult. Work is performed under the general direction of the Principal. Responsibilities: * Supervise students to ensure a supportive, welcoming atmosphere. Provide individual support to students with identified behavioral concerns and needs. * Monitor student behavior to ensure a safe, supportive, welcoming learning environment. * Interact with students providing skills in organization, communication, emotional regulation and problem-solving. * Establish effective communication with staff, students, and families. * Assist staff with student behavioral issues and concerns as requested. * Participate in meetings with students and families as needed. * Implement, monitor, and track building behavior systems. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
