ELEMENTARY TEACHER – An Elementary Teacher is needed for Minnesota Virtual Academy. A Minnesota Elementary Teacher license, good communication and technology skills are requirements of the position. This is a part-time position, with potential to grow based on enrollments. Position to begin in August. Houston Public Schools is a pioneer in online education in Minnesota. While the district is located in the rural bluff country of southeast Minnesota, teachers located in various parts of the state work primarily from their homes to deliver essential content courses. For those candidates living in the Houston area, coaching opportunities are available at the Houston High School. Interested candidates should send a completed District application, letter of interest, resume, copies of college transcripts and current licensure, as well as three letters of recommendation to the Office of the Superintendent, 306 West Elm Street, Houston, MN 55943.
