Current Joint Powers member Districts (subject to change) are St. Cloud, Sauk Rapids, Sartell, Kimball, Holdingford, and Foley. The Director will oversee summer, extended day, and credit recovery programming for at-risk students in accordance with state statutes. The Director will collaborate with the staff and school administrators at the Joint Powers member districts to provide services that will ensure equitable practices across districts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: * Coordinates summer and extended day programming including; planning and coordination, program implementation, and reporting * Oversees summer and extended day programming for at risk K-12 students in collaboration staff and school administrators at all Joint Powers districts. * Develops training procedures and protocols to effectively establish programs that are consistent throughout the member Districts * Provides training and assistance with program applications and expectations * Coordinates program opportunities with K-12 staff and school administration that aligns with each school&#8217;s needs * Reviews and approves program applications and budgets * Provides professional development and feedback to teachers regarding the implementation of the curriculum and best practices * Provides ongoing support and professional development to all sites in the development of their programs * Ensures all Targeted Services and Credit Recovery programs are in compliance and aligned with the state legislation including; programming, Continual Learning Plans (CLP), budgets, teacher licensure, and attendance * Attends Board meetings for the Central MN Joint Powers District * Serves as the primary contact for the Minnesota Department of Education for the Central MN Joint Powers District * Other duties as assigned PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: * Adheres to district/state/federal policies, rules, mandates, procedures, and assignments * Upholds the ethical standards of the profession * Shares the responsibility with other employees for supporting and promoting the educational goals of the district PHYSICAL FACTORS: * Frequent: walking, standing, sitting, hearing, talking, and seeing All Employees of Saint Cloud School District 742 are responsible to support District goals, to work collaboratively and respectfully with diverse populations of staff, students and parents and to model and promote a welcoming working and learning environment. Required
