Job Summary: The National Account Sales Representative is responsible for generating profitable revenue by representing and selling our Spring Math and edSpring software products. The National Account Sales Representative will utilize a strategic selling approach and differentiate themselves as a trusted advisor/consultant. The National Account Sales Representative is actively involved in the management, retention, and growth of current base of customers, as well as actively sourcing for and identifying new customers. Essential Key duties/responsibilities/accountabilities 1. Through sales meets or exceeds assigned sales objectives and monthly revenue quotas by prospecting for new district opportunities and driving sales cycles to closure 2. Gather information on the clients initiatives, budgeting needs, and business processes, critical success factors through a strategic and consultative sales approach to deliver value-added solutions 3. Responsible for what success means for each engagement with the customer and manages the post sales process with internal stakeholders to ensure that success happens 4. Structure presentations, offerings, and contract negotiations that move the customer toward the purchase 5. Review complex customer requirements, equipment configurations, feasibility of intended applications, required software and adequacy of implementations plans for custom needs, and provides specific solutions recommendations with the assistance of subject matter experts 6. Collaborates with internal resources (e.g. technical, engineering, customer service, and related support staff) to share information, coordinate sales and ensure end-to-end district sales and satisfaction 7. Develop and manage sales funnel to analyze and manage activity and provide accurate and detailed forecasts of identified and proposed opportunities 8. Participate in regular sales meetings and professional development exercises 9. Extensive travel is required of Non -essential duties 1. Completes supporting paperwork and data management as required 2. Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications 1. Bachelor degree in business or a related field or equivalent experience 2. Ability to work independently in meeting revenue objectives 3. Ability to travel extensively, work a flexible scheduling 4. Proven ability to collaborate and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders 5. Solid experience in sales and customer service 6. Sales experience in a K-12 school setting preferred 7. In-depth understanding of sales performance metrics 8. Outstanding organizational, project management, communication, and presentation skills 9. Communicate clearly both in writing and speech 10. Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends 11. Excellent listening, verbal communications, and writing skills 12. Strong time management and prioritization skills 13. Valid driver&#8217;s license and must maintain an acceptable MVR that meets the company insurance provider&#8217;s standards 14. Successful candidate must pass past-employer reference checks and a criminal history verification Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, walk, lift and use hands and/or fingers for repetitive motion. The employee is occasionally required to kneel, reach, stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to and over 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
