RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES * Oversee district assessment activities, including but not limited to scheduling, staff training and procurement of assessments, supplies, and resources for the PSAT, Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCAs) State and District ACT, National ACT, Advanced Placement (AP) and ACT Aspire exams * Maintain all assessment data and adhere to recordkeeping procedures and data files * Lead the process of reviewing standardized assessment data including facilitating data retreats and reporting results to the Executive Director and other Administrators * Serve as English Learner (EL) program coordinator, coordinating referral assessments and education planning * Coordinate with EL case managers to ensure all documents are completed in a timely manner * Serves as the district coordinator for Title Services. * Coordinate all reporting as required by Nova&#8217;s Authorizer, state, and federal agencies * Support district-level programs under the direction of the Executive Director or other Administrator, as assigned * Support school-level programs including academic interventions and professional development activities as assigned. * Support operational excellence in education for Nova * Maintain effective and efficient student records and procedures related to testing, behaviors, progress, and related academic information * Consistently model professional and ethical standards when dealing with students (including student data), parents, peers, administration and community * Complete necessary data gathering for all reporting requirements concerning students with articulated education plans and other required reports (e.g. MARRS, Tuition agreements, etc&#8230;) * Engage parents and families in their student&#8217;s learning and act as an ambassador for the school in the community * Adherence to Nova policies and procedures * Other duties as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS * Bachelor&#8217;s degree in related field * Evidence of at least five years of successful classroom teaching, with relevant licensure and/or School Administrator license * Current and/or previous experience working in a K-12 or other academic setting * Strong interpersonal skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Current and/or previous experience working in an administrative or clerical role * Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and other professional business software DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS * Advanced degree in related/relevant field * Experience with Student Information System(s), including Infinite Campus * Experience and/or familiarity with charter schools and/or the classical model of education * Current First Aid, CPR/AED Certification or willingness to obtain/renew PHYSICAL DEMANDS * Must be able to remain in a standing or seated position for extended periods * Must be able to exchange accurate information with students, teachers, parents, and staff * Frequent lifting up to 25 pounds and occasional lifting up to 40 pounds * Regular operation of computer or other office machines BENEFITS: For eligible employees, Nova Classical Academy provides: health, dental, and vision insurance; short and long term disability; life insurance; flexible spending account; paid time off; and professional development training, including Classical Education Certification training. JOB SUMMARY
