This is a 12 month, year round position located in an elementary school building, working 8 hours per day position with a split shift supporting both morning and afternoon OST programming. Hours are 7:00am-11:00am & 2:00pm-6:00pm. Job Summary: Responsibilities include: development and implementation of programming for youth in grades K-8, direct child time, family communication, youth leadership, school day alignment, supply shopping, assisting with staff direction and support, behavior management, special needs support, marketing and other duties as assigned. Qualifications: 2 years of post secondary school is required and a 4 year degree is preferred. Knowledge and experience with school age youth is necessary. The ideal candidate can demonstrate: creative programming ideas for youth, professionalism, good communication, problem solving, a positive attitude and comfort with technology. Working Conditions:Must be able to lift 20 lbs and have own vehicle. Position requires that you have your own transportation for such things as shopping and off site meetings. Compensation: Salaried position. $36,000-$38,000 plus benefit package.
