Coach, Head Girls Track & Field Coach Coach, Assistant Track Coach Date Closing: January 28, 2022 We are looking for positive, high energy and committed individuals to join our coaching staff. Head Girls Track & Field Job Summary: A Head Coach will fulfill responsibilities of the positions in accordance with the MSHSL and school district guidelines as directed by the Activities Director. The Head Coach plays an important role in instructing student participants in the individual and team fundamentals. General track and field knowledge, specializing in one area. Duties include working with coaches to set and arrange daily practices, set up meet line-ups, set up facilities for home meets and create a positive student athlete atmosphere to promote dedicated and successful student athletes. Assistant Track Coach Job Summary: An Assistant Track Coach will need general track and field knowledge. Specifically assisting with sprint workouts, relays and other areas as needed such as jumps and pole vault. Must be able and willing to work with the coaching staff to create a positive and safe training atmosphere for the student athletes. Head coaches are encouraged to work with student athletes in the off-season by offering weight room and agility training, practice drills, camp or scrimmage opportunities.
