This is a part-time, temporary position, scheduled to work up to 10 hours per week, through August 9, 2024. Job Summary Perform general clerical duties related to Targeted Services. Job Functions * Perform general clerical duties such as keyboarding, answering phones and distributing correspondence, organize targeted services information, and maintaining student records. * Perform duties including recording student attendance in the student information system, organizing, storing, and updating Continuous Learning Plans (CLP), and support with marketing of targeted services programming at all sites. * Set up targeted services for school year and summer school and enroll students. * Prepare and maintain new student enrollment packets for targeted services programming. * Partner with community education on outreach efforts related to targeted services signup. * Work with appropriate building administration on collection of targeted services documentation. * Work with building lead teachers on collection of attendance and updates to CLP&#8217;s. * Work with district MARRS Specialist on consistent data entry practices and procedures. * Complete end-of-year state reporting for targeted services programs. * Create positive interactions with students/staff/parents and general public. * Model the 1B Learner Profile for students, families and staff. * Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent. * One to three years previous experience in a clerical position, preferably in a school setting. * Strong computer knowledge and experience. * Excellent customer service skills. * Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with employees at all levels in the organization as well as with people outside the organization. * Ability to work independently with little work direction. * Ability to understand and follow data privacy rules and regulations related to students and maintain confidentiality. * Demonstrated prompt, regular and reliable attendance. Physical Requirements Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, frequent data entry via keyboard, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Vision abilities required include close vision.
