Sibley East School District is committed to: A culture of high levels of learning and quality instruction Equitable education Meeting the academic, social-emotional, and physical needs of all students A collaborative environment Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide Instructional Leadership Supervise and monitor methods of instruction Collaborate on selection and evaluation of instructional materials Develop and implement instructional goals Supervision of Staff Supervises and evaluates certified, office, and support staff Recruits, interviews, and recommends for hire staff and assigns teaching staff Manages staff orientation processes Manages building security and staff procedures Management of Building Interprets policies related to faculty, staff and students Responds to and resolves complaints and grievances of students, parents, and staff Manages school safety and security processes including crisis management procedures Provides leadership to address student discipline issues Fiscal Management Plans and recommends staffing levels Manages building budget Communication with Students, Parents, Communities, and Staff Communication with staff on a daily and weekly basis Interacts cooperatively with local, regional, and state agencies Facilitates communication between staff, administration, and parents Collaborates with PCO Perform other duties as assigned or requested including attending professional development/meetings, in-services and workshops. Position: Elementary Principal Department: Administration Reports To: Superintendent Exempt Status: Exempt Required Qualifications: Hold a current Minnesota Teaching License Hold a current Minnesota Principal License or have the ability to obtain by July 1, 2026 Preferred Qualifications: Experience as an elementary teacher and/or administrator Hold a current Minnesota Teaching License with elementary education or K-5 specialist Contract: Full-time, 12 - Month, 260 day contract starting July 1, 2026 Salary and Benefits: A competitive salary and benefits package will be available based on candidates qualifications and experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide Instructional Leadership

Required Qualifications:

  • Hold a current Minnesota Teaching License
  • Hold a current Minnesota Principal License or have the ability to obtain by July 1, 2026

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as an elementary teacher and/or administrator
  • Hold a current Minnesota Teaching License with elementary education or K-5 specialist

Contract:

Full-time, 12 - Month, 260 day contract starting July 1, 2026

Salary and Benefits:
