Maplewood, MN Heritage Christian Academy (HCA) is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Girls Middle School B-Squad Coach for the upcoming season. This position is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about developing young athletes while helping students grow in their faith and character. Position Details Position: Girls Middle School B-Squad Coach Season Start Date: September 10, 2026 Compensation: $1,500 stipend Level: Middle School B-Squad Reports To: Activities/Athletic Director Responsibilities Plan and lead engaging, developmentally appropriate practices. Teach and develop fundamental skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and game understanding. Prepare the team for competitions and provide effective game-day coaching. Create a positive, encouraging, and Christ-centered team environment. Communicate professionally and consistently with student-athletes, families, school staff, and the athletic department. Support and follow all Heritage Christian Academy and MSHSL policies and procedures. Promote character, integrity, discipline, and respect both on and off the court/field. Attend practices, games, and required coaching meetings throughout the season. Qualifications Previous coaching or playing experience is preferred. Experience working with middle school students is preferred. Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills. Ability to create a positive and encouraging environment for developing athletes. Commitment to the mission and values of Heritage Christian Academy. Ability to model Christian character and encourage students in their faith through athletics.
